It was a Saturday but I didn't feel like letting mom sleep in since I thought she should start spending quality time early with me. But she wouldn't wake up through my screams and tugs. Luckily, Ate Mai and Rein were up early and we hauled the sofa bed to create a make-up slide for us to play with.
 Mommy finally woke up after a couple of minutes(that sleepyhead!), and we headed downstairs to have breakfast. We had corned beef for breakfast and yaya had to chase me around the room when I got tired of eating at the table. After the sumptuous meal, mommy allowed me to bathe with my cousins. It was really fun since Ate Mai cleared the tiled floor of the bathroom and we went "swimming" on it.
It was DVD time afterwards and we watched Power Rangers Wild Force and High School Musical. Ate Mai and mommy taught me the Power Rangers transformation routine("Wild access, ha!") and I wasn't spared from their endless singing of "It's hard to believe, that I couldn't see..." I played some more with my cousins before having lunch and taking my afternoon nap.
 We woke up at 5:30 pm already and mommy took me downstairs. I had a blast jumping off the sofa with my cousins while mom was watching us from the rocking chair. It was dinner time shortly and I ate a whole lot of fish and rice.
We went back to our bedroom for my bedtime rituals. I gave mom her vitamins and she undressed me for my night time bath. I impressed her by peeing holding my tintin and brushing my teeth dexterously. I ran butt-naked after the bath but stopped when she said she had to put my diapers on so the ants won't bite at my birdie. We finally laid on the bed but I wasn't sleepy yet so I thought of playing with mom's cellphone. I looked at the video she took of me early that day and were repeating the lines I heard, "Mahulog ako ta duyan. Laki mo na e. Hindi pa. Tekti body, kunin ti Kermit." I felt my eyelids going heavy so I started nursing. Of course, it was accompanied with the usual "Wag ka na dede, laki ka na!" but she still allowed me. Then I was off dreaming in milkland after a few minutes. Labels: wento |
