My Busy Life

Mommy has been reminding me lately to call her mommy or mama and drop her name if I feel that it's too long to utter. That's because I've been calling her Daitell lately and she wasn't happy about that. Yesterday, there was a call for lola and I forwarded it to her saying "Herma, may tawag ka." She then corrected me that I shouldn't call her by her first name so I explained "Yung tumawag kati hinahanap ti Herma e di naman ako ti Herma kaya tinawag kitang Herma." She laughed after my explanation. Hehe, I should really clarify things sometimes.

Asked yaya to dial mommy for me...

Me: Hello, ma. Patalubong ko ha?
Mommy: Ang aga-aga, pasalubong agad tinawag mo saken.
Me: Umiyak ako kanina, iniwan mo kati ko. Iniwan mo ko, mama.
Mommy: Pumasok ako, be. Tulog ka pa kasi kanina. Wag ka na umiyak.

Just when mommy was beginning to believe me, yaya had to shout at the background "Atik lang yan!". So I just decided to pass the phone to lola. But I do hope she gets me something nice for pasalubong. =D

I was playing outside yesterday with Zach when he suddenly talked to me in gibberish. I asked him, "Ha? Anong tabi mo?". But he just answered me with "What?". All along our yayas where laughing at us. Mommy and lola also found it amusing when yaya told them the story.

I've started singing happy birthday for mommy a couple of weeks ago before her actual birthday. This helped me perfect it when her birthday finally came yesterday. We started the day by going to mass in the morning. Then we had our usual fast-food trip after. I chose Mc Donald's this time for the free toy in their Happy Meal. Too bad there weren't anymore supplies of robot toys so I contented on getting the pony toy. I wasn't ashamed as I showed off combing its hair (I'm all for gender equality). After having my fill of food and play, we finally left. Mommy fed me lunch a few hours after getting home and then we went upstairs for my afternoon nap. When I woke up, Tita Jhoy was there already with chocolate bars as pasalubong for me. They just ate, chatted and watched TV as I play. Tita Jhoy decided to leave after dinner and I joined mommy as she accompanied her to get to her ride home. It was a simple day for mommy but I'm sure she enjoyed spending it with her loved ones.

3. she continues to nurse me even when all people tell her to wean me already just because I still like doing it.

5. she does whisper a thousand 'I love yous' to my ear everyday.
