My Busy Life

We went trick or treating last Sunday at SM Megamall. We would've gone to Robinson's Galleria but we're not able to make it to the pre-registration. I came as Superman, Ate Rein as Darna and Ate Mai as Hermione. People commented how cute we are. One group had mistaken Ate Rein's costume as Wonderwoman but mommy smilingly corrected them. We went from store to store hauling candies and Clinica Manila also offered face painting. I had stars painted on my hands and Superman's S on my cheek. Really had a great time. Maybe next year I could ask mom to buy me Capt. Barbell's costume. ;D

I was eating dinner and playing at our backyard last night when I felt like peeing. When mom scolded me for peeing on my shorts, I told her "Ta labat naman a!". She replied "Sa labas nga anak pero dapat tinanggal mo muna shorts mo!". Hehe, she should've clarified that. =P

I woke up ahead of mom today and decided to give her a few more minutes before I nudge her into awareness. After waiting for a minute or two, I smothered her faces with kisses to wake her up. She did kiss me back but didn't open her eyes. "Giting ka na!" I said but to no effect. I tugged at her lower lip and saw what looked like blood. "Mommy, may dugo o!" But she still ignored me. "Giting ka na, baba na tayo!" She finally opened her eyes and said "Hila mo ko para baba na tayo." while stretching her arms toward me. As I felt lazy this morning, I said "Ikaw na lang!". To which she replied "Di ko nga kaya." So I demonstrated to her how to do it by arching my back. "Ay di tayo bababa pag di mo ko hinila." So I finally decided to pull her arms and up she went. She then fixed the bed and we went down to have breakfast. I love waking up in the mornings with mom.

Mommy and I hurried to the back of the crib and covered ourselves with the blanket so lolo won't see us when he comes in. I saw the patterns in the blanket forming what looked like a house so I told mommy, "May bahay o!" A couple of minutes have passed and lolo hasn't come in yet. It was getting hotter but I decided to keep quiet. Then I noticed mom's eyelids closing and she was suddenly snoring loudly. I touched(more like scratched actually) her face to wake her up. She did and asked if we could go out already. I insisted on staying since I wanted to surprise lolo. After a few minutes, I heard mommy snoring again. I woke her up and she said she's sleepy so she moved to the bed. I decided to come with her so we laid on the bed and pull the sheets over us. Lolo finally came in and I threw the sheets and surprised him. Mom informed him that we were hiding at the back of the crib at first but it took him ages to come in. It was still fun for me though. =D

I let mommy sleep in on Saturday morning since she arrived late on Friday night after meeting Ninong Ledz. She hurriedly fed and bathed me after waking up coz we had to prepare for our trip to Fairview. I enjoyed it there, going up the bare second floor and buying chichirias from the nearby sari-sari store. We had to leave early though coz we had to drop by Ate Mai and Ate Rein at SM North to see their aunts from their dad's side of the family. On the way to SM North, I kept crying coz I want the fake tattoo placed on my hand instead of my triceps. Then I cried more when my ates left me. Why can't mommy understand that? Instead, she kept saying I was having a meltdown. Consequently, I became tired and doze off to sleep on our way back home. I was too sleepy to even wake up for dinner.

On Sunday morning, I kept telling mommy that my tummy aches and "Natutubig(nauuhaw) ako." I ended up vomitting my morning meds but was able to hold up my breakfast after an hour. We went to the pedia after hearing mass. I was surprised that the consultation was short but we're still kept waiting after that. Mommy got some papers and we proceeded to the end of the hall. After handing the first paper through a window, she instructed me to give the other paper to the guy in blue. Then we were herded to a dimly-lit room. I started to cry but mom and the guy said that my picture will just be taken. Mom needed to remove my shirt though but I was glad that the procedure didn't hurt. We then proceeded to sit on a chair with a huge armchair. A lady tied my right arm and felt the vein in my inner elbow. Next thing I know, she injected me and was drawing blood from my arm. I cried a whole lot. Good thing, it took only a couple of seconds and mommy hugged and comforted me. I was too tired when we left the pedia's office. When I woke up, mom bought me a creamy macaroni soup and swirly bitz from Jollibee. She was telling lola that the results were negative and I can stop taking my medicines. Yey for that! It turned out to be a good weekend after all.

How was your weekend? Mine was fun. Lolo drived mommy and me to mommy's office for our flu shot. I was bored the minute we sat on the waiting room, err corridor so I kept saying "Ayaw ko dito." and started crying. The other parents there were laughing at me since I'd just arrived and I was already feeling that way. Good thing they started showing Ice Age 2 and I was somewhat entertained. When it was time to get my temperature, I started crying again. Mommy soothed me by bringing me next to the big windows and car-seeing that I didn't mind it when she inserted the thermometer under my armpit. The moment of truth finally came and I was crying again. I know that it's for my own good though so I stopped after getting a lot of mom's hugs and kisses.

On Sunday, we went to the Pasig Zoo at Rainforest. It was my second time there but I still enjoyed all the animals. I was still entertained by the monkeys who would've touched my hand if I'd gotten it closer. We also went to the children's playground and I enjoyed going through the slides and tunnel with Ate Mai and Ate Rein. Hope my next weekend will be as fun-filled as this.

I was getting bored already this midday afternoon so I decided to call mommy(of course, yaya still dialed for me)...
Mommy: Hello, bebi. Musta ka na?

As I was eager to chat with her, I didn't answer her question and said instead...
Me: Kumakain si Reinrein.
Mommy: E ikaw, kumain ka na?
Me: Oo, kumain na ko.
Mommy: Opo

There she goes again, correcting me. So the obedient me followed...
Me: Opo
Mommy: Anong ginagawa mo dyan?
Me: Linis kami ng kwarto.
Mommy: Naglilinis ka ng kwarto?

She wouldn't believe me so I instead shifted the subject...
Me: Si Maimai, iniwan ako ni Maimai.
Mommy: Bakit, san sya nagpunta?

She was getting boring for me as well so I passed the phone to yaya...
Me: Ayan na si ate

Hehe, don't worry mommy I still love you(not more than Kermit though) even if I don't enjoy talking to you.
